Yes, even I gave it a shot. One of the kids laughed at me and made the comment; "Dad, you're like this tough guy at work, but NOW look at you! You're SEWING!!!

We have been married for 25 years and are both native New Yorkers, now living in New England. We have 6 amazing children including Honour who we recently brought home from Vietnam. Storyteller Brian Andreas says "There are lives I can imagine without children but none of them have the same laughter & noise". We have been blessed with such a full life...both beautiful and messy. We are slowly learning to embrace the mystery and wonder of it all, instead of wasting time trying to figure it all out.

Awe, the things daddies do for thier kids. My favorite "new daddy" memory is of my husband putting Hello Kitty panties on a stuffed elephant in Build a Bear for Autumn's 2nd B-day present :)
